Speaking and Facilitation

Miigwech for your interest in having me support your event. It’s an honour to be invited to help hold space for community, dialogue, and celebration.

I’m a proud Anishinaabe woman from Onigaming First Nation in Treaty #3, with a background in communications, public safety, and facilitation. I bring a grounded presence to gatherings — blending professionalism, cultural respect, and intention in every role I take on.

I’m most aligned with events that:

  • Focus on public safety, community wellness, or communications
  • Highlight Indigenous women’s leadership or empowerment
  • Support youth development, education, or storytelling
  • Uplift language revitalization, cultural pride, or Nation-building
  • Reflect Treaty #3 values or gatherings of political significance
  • Welcome a warm, respectful tone and clear structure
  • Value intentional storytelling over performance

I may not be the best fit for:

  • Events focused on topics outside of my lived experience or core areas of knowledge
  • Multi-day weekday events — these require employer approval, and I prefer that they closely align with my work in community safety and communications but am open to discussing options
  • High-energy performance-based gatherings without cultural grounding
  • Last-minute bookings that don’t allow for thoughtful preparation or alignment

I say this with care and respect. My goal is always to show up in a good way — with clarity, presence, and purpose.

Current Availability

I am currently limiting MC and facilitation requests to one per month, with a scheduled break during December 2025. Thank you for your understanding as I create space for balance, reflection, and rest. I am booked January and March 2026.

If I’m not available or the right fit, I’m happy to refer you to other talented speakers and facilitators who carry their own gifts and strengths.
